This webpage is dedicated to the neoconservative Republican NBC Meet the Press presenter Tom Brokaw. In his reports for the NBC Meet the Press, he always frames the story in terms of right-wing talking points. For his "debates and analysis" parts of his shows, he enables right-wing pundits to recite right-wing talking points which are distorted, absurd, and outright false. Tom Brokaw never challenges his Republican "roundtable discussion" pundits' outright lies. Tom Brokaw is a Republican shill who gives softball questions to Republicans in his interviews, never asks obvious followup questions, never challenges Republicans when they are blatently lying, and has never stood up for the truth or spoke truth to power. His history books are full of revisionist history, inaccuracies, distortions, and outright lies. He frequently uses the phrase "WE" to describe the policies of Republican regimes ... example: "WE believed Iraq had WMDs and was an imminent threat so WE had to attack them ..." Tom Brokaw uses "WE" to put the onus of blame on everybody, not just the Republicans who initiated the policies. NO Tom Brokaw! There was no "WE"! It was all Tom Brokaw, NBC News, the corporate media, and the Republicans; everybody else was against the war before you started.
He only allows right-wing commentators, journalists, pundits, lobbyists, politicos, and shills to speak in his "roundtable discussions." He lets them say outrageously false statements without any question. He framed the debates in terms of right-wing talking points. Tom Brokaw pretends to be a working class hero, but he admantly refuses to allow any issues that effect working class people to be discussed; Tom Brokaw will not have union people on his shows, just corporate pundits, spokesmen, and lobbyists. These are guests that he never allowed to speak on his show and rountable discussions: Keith Olbermann, Amy Goodman, Noam Chomsky, Greg Palast, Scott Ritter, Arundhati Roy, Cynthia Tucker, Richard Reeves, Ted Rall, Linda Chavez, Arianna Huffington, Bill Moyers, David Brancaccio, Larry Abramson, Juan Gonzalez, Jeff Cohen, Jim Naureckas, Steve Rendall, Seth Ackerman, Howard Zinn, Daniel Ellsberg, Paul Krassner, Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and anybody else who asked real questions.
Tom Brokaw actually admitted on TV that he lies, his famous quote is "All wars are based on propaganda" (Friday, May 30th, 2008)
