This webpage is dedicated to the late PBS News presenter Gwen Ifill (November 14, 2016). In her reports for the PBS NewsHour, she always framed the story in terms of right-wing talking points. On her PBS Washington Week show, she always framed the debate in terms of right-wing talking points and she only allows right-wing pundits to appear as guests so they can recite right-wing talking points. She also appears as a guest on network TV pundit shows, as the "token black/minority/woman" where she shills and recites right-wing talking points.
She is a "hawk", that is a warmonger. Whenever the topic of American involvement in wars comes up, she is always promoting American escalation into wars. When there was a recent diucussion on Americans leaving the Afghanistan war, she said repeatedly what America was in a "rush" to leave war; she said that after America had been in the Afghanistan war for over 12 years and at a cost of thousands of American and civilians and trillions of American taxpayer money. She rountinely downplays American and civilian casualties and has undereported or ignored the costs of wars. She is very dismissive of any criticism against war. She does not say directly that she wants America to be in wars, she will talk around that sentiment and attack those who want peace and the wars to end.
